End of season goals
How is it the 1st of September already! This season has flown by, or should I say "evaporated". It's been hard and hot. And many of you will have had a similar lack of grass and that for the 2nd year in a row.
It is quite a worry. But we finally have had rain, everything has softened up and is starting to get greener again.
A great time to have a look at what you are going to do in the last months of the season. You might already know and are working your way towards a nice end of year challenge, or you might just want to take it easy and enjoy some favourite autumn rides. It could also be you would like some help stepping up to a longer distance, or if you've taken it easy during the hot months you might want to pick up some tougher training again.
If you need some help with anything, either stepping up, ticking over or a check if your horse is as fit as you hope it is (or if you are not sure about fitness) you can always give me a shout. We can have a chat about what you've been doing, what you might need to top up or if you want to evaluate the season and start thinking about future goals we can do that as well.
And of course if you've been unlucky and had some setbacks, you might also want some help finding how to get back into action or what to work on to avoid something similar happening again. You as a rider might have been struggling a little with motivation or other rider relates issues.
Have a look at the coaching options on the website: https://groenequestrian.co.uk/endurance-coaching
We can do online but also in person, depending on where you are of course.
You also might want to check out one of the recorded webinars, there is a huge selection available. A nice selection on "stepping up" but also some interesting webinars on specific types of training such as hill work, canter work or interval training. All you need to do is check into your free membership (and check out any interesting blog articles you might find there!) and check the webinar Plan page: https://groenequestrian.co.uk/plans/subscribe/11
Have a great autumn!
