5-Year anniversary of the GE Community member platform!
On 31 October 2021 (mid-COVID, might I add), the online GE Community member platform was ready. It contains my Free membership content, with blogs, the free tutorial series "Starting with endurance" and some information on who we are and what the "Endurance: Step by Step" online coaching is all about. And now we're already celebrating 5 years of it existing, where has the time gone!
Did you know I have been coaching online for longer than these 5 years?
I started the Akhdhar Academy in 2012 in the Netherlands with the first packages for endurance support for the 2013 season. These included personally ridden, coached training rides and help with planning, training, and competition. Besides that, I also ran group training rides, lectures on locations, study evenings and training camps. And I wrote a book (in Dutch) about everything endurance. It was called "Endurance: stap voor stap" (translated to: Endurance: Step by Step). In the winter of 2016-2027, this evolved to the first coaching course, with weekly PDF's and a Facebook group to work everything through with support from me, but also from other riders.
Inspired by the new formats of coaching provided by people like Tristan Tucker and Dressage Riding TV I wanted to create someting like this for endurance. With the idea to reach endurance riders all over the world. Never mind they had a team of people at their disposal, and I'm pretty sure a much bigger budget! It was quite some work to create all the content, and I'm always adding more stuff to it so keep checking if there is anything new you might fancy

And of course we want to celebrate that with you! I will share some information on what we will do to celebrate in the coming days but lets focus on some presents from me first!
